Mark is a charted architectural technologist, M.C.I.A.T. with over 35 years’ experience in the construction industry. Having spent many years working in a local authorities’ architect’s department. Mark has an excellent understanding of the design & construction process & is a qualified On Construction Domestic Energy Assessor (O.C.D.E.A.) and Code for Sustainable Homes Assessor.

Alex Pelling – Architectural Technologist

Alex joined the practice in April 2017 after graduating from the University of the West of England with a BSc in Architectural Technology & Design. He is also training to become a qualified ‘On Construction Domestic Energy Assessor’ (O.C.D.E.A.). Alex has a good range of presentation & 3D Design skills and can produce high-quality visualisations & design packages to support planning submissions.

Since its formation in 2006 has focused on producing building regulations packages for single & multi-unit residential schemes for developers including Millwood Designer Homes Ltd. & Stateside Developments. These dwellings have been designed to the highest technical standards, with high thermal performance. We offer a comprehensive construction package including Building Regulation submissions, technical detailing and specification.

In addition to the architectural services, Arcadian can offer energy rating calculations for all residential projects, including new build, conversions, together with compliance calculations for over-glazed extensions. We also prepare energy statements to satisfy Planning Authorities renewable energy planning policies. Water efficiency calculations which are required on all new housing under Part G of the Building Regulations can also be provided.
